Mr Ekundayo started his insurance career with WAPIC Insurance Company before he joined Globe Reinsurance in 1989. The hard working and resourceful Mr. Ekundayo has consistently identified with the growth of the Company. He is instrumental to the strong presence of the company in the West Coast francophone countries being a bilingual executive. His experience as Insurance practitioner covers various aspects of the profession including brokerage, marketing, underwriting, reinsurance and risk management. He studied Insurance at Lagos State Polytechnic and holds Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Lagos State University. Fellow of both Chartered Insurance Institute London and Chartered Institute of Marketing of Nigeria.He has wide and varied executive educational experience including leading the Team course at Lagos Business School, Reinsurance Strategic Management at the prestigious Wit Business School, University of Witwatersand, Johannesburg, South Africa and Managing People effectively at D & B Business Training Services, London.
Mr. Johnson Joseph Deputy General Manager (Technical)
He oversees the underwriting, marketing and claim processing units of the Technical Department. He has hand-on experience in all aspects of insurance. He joined Globe ReInsurance Plc in 1996 with over 10 years post qualification experience as insurance executive having worked with a number of leading insurance companies including Guinea Insurance Plc and LASACO Assurance Plc. He studied Insurance at Lagos State Polytechnic and obtained a Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Lagos State University. Mr. Agbogunleri is an associate of both Chartered Insurance Institute (London) and Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Mr. Lekan Olabode Asst. Gen. Manager(I.T.)
My Olabode obtained his first degree (Bsc Hon) and Master degree (Msc) from University of Lagos. He is an active member of Computer Association of Nigeria and Computer Professionals. A versatile analyst and programmer, Mr Olabode is skillful and creative. The I.T. department under his leadership is now a multi-purpose unit with excellent service delivery.
Jaiyeola O.K. (Mrs) Asst. Gen. Manager(Finance)
Jaiyeola O.K. (Mrs) is the Head of Finance and Accounts Department. She was previously the company’s Internal Auditor. Prior to joining Globe Reinsurance in 2003, she had been engaged in Financial Accounting, Taxation, Investment and Auditing assignments at executive level with various organizations including the defunct Nigeria Merchant Bank Plc – 1989 – 1995. A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Mrs Jaiyeola graduated in 1988 from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife with Bsc. (Hon) Degree in Accounting.
Mr. Sogelola Olasupo Asst Gen. Manager(marketing)
Mr. Sogelola Olasupo is the head – Marketing is a 1988 graduate of the University of Ibadan with Bsc. (Hons) Degree in Zoology, an associate of chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria, he had worked with Union Bank of Nigeria Plc, Guinea Insurance Plc and Equity Indemnity Assurance Company before joining Globe ReInsurance in 1995 as Senior Executive Officer. He is an insurance/reinsurance underwriter and marketer of note. As the Head of the Marketing Unit, he consistently demonstrates leadership example of perseverance, hard work and courage.
Odiahi Frank Senior Manager (Technical)
Mr. Odiahi Frank is the Senior Manager (Technical), he has responsibility amongst others, for the general administration of Life and Non-Life portfolios, administration of retrocession programme and general technical operation. The rich technical experience of Mr. Odiahi in risk rating and management is highly beneficial to the company’s numerous cedants. An associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria, he has attended many advanced training programmes in different aspects of Insurance and Management.
Efosa Igbinedion Senior Manager Finance
Efosa Joseph Igbinedion( Senior Manager Finance) He is a fellow of the institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA). He holds a Higher National Diploma in Accounting and with over 15 years Post-qualification experience. He has an extensive experience in Financial Planning and Reporting. He is also an Associatte Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
